Location - Close to Mt Buller Village and Easy to everything!
A 3 minute walk to the village
Walk out our door, down the hallway and step out to where this photo has been taken from.
Follow the footsteps and you will find yourself in the Village Square where you can hire ski's, buy a lift ticket, step on a shuttle to ski school, visit the Kooroora Hotel, or eat (or grab take-away) from Pat's - the Italian restaurant, grab fish and chips or visit the local supermarket if you need anything else.
Head around to the right and you will find yourself at the village toboggan slope if the kids want a quick slide.
Easy to get to Ski School - Close to not just one, but two busses!
Have to get the kids to ski school? We also have children and its pretty simple and won't wear them out just getting there! Who needs sore feet before lessons even start...
By Shuttle: Walk across the road to the shuttle stop, then there are two options - Grab the shuttle to Ski School (no tickets needed!), or if the Summit Road shuttle comes first jump on the Summit Road shuttle, and get off at ABOM stop (Stop 13) - then a quick ski, or a quick 10 second walk across Bourke Street and you are at Ski School.
Quick to the Run's, and if you want to - avoid the Blue Bullet!
To get up the mountain there are a few different options:
- Walk across the road, jump on the Blue Bullet, then ski down to ABOM, or at the top of the Blue Bullet turn right, down Shakey Knees onto The Fox. You can then ski the Northern Slopes, or head across to Summit Access and onto Grimus Chair and you're on the Summit.
- Don't want to wait for the Blue Bullet - then just take the Summit Road shuttle and jump off at the end of the line, then down Shaky Knees and onto The Fox (just like option 1)
- Walk across the road past the CFA Lydia's then down Chamois a little and onto the Canyon Rope Tows to Standard then grab the Bull Run lift and you are near the Dam - Hit the Black Runs and make your way to lifts to get higher up the mountain.
Just remember when early (or late) in the season check to make sure that the Canyon Tows or Grimus are actually open!
